Program parties
The parties behind the INTERREG IV A program is Region South Denmark on the Danish side and on the German side Kreis Schleswig-Flensburg, Kreis Nordfriesland og Kreis Rendsburg-Eckernförde plus Landeshauptstadt Kiel, Stadt Flensburg and Stadt Neumünster.

Danish-German agreement on the completion of the INTERREG 4 A-program
On the German side Region Schleswig has handed over the completion of the INTERREG 4 A-program to EA Nord GmbH. In the K.E.R.N.-region the completion task of the INTERREG 4 A-program is handled by Technologie-Region K.E.R.N. e.V.

The six German kreise and städte have entered into an agreement with Region South Denmark about the completion of the INTERREG 4 A-program. The agreement in particular revolves around the arrangements concerning the functions as administration authority, payment authority and INTERREG-Secretariat plus agreements concerning the INTERREG-Committee.
